9, 2004. We had 35 people! It was very effective to have a silent vigil; the
wind kept blowing out our candles, but it didn't rain as had been predicted.
A couple walked by and joined us when they walked by a second time. We stood
in a semi-circle facing the street with our signs, peace flags, and candles,
and met in a circle at the end and shared thoughts and future plans, welcoming
new folks.
