Some of us marched
with the Veterans for Peace on Armistice Day.
At our Stone Soup Supper, Cole Harrison outlined the activities
of Mass. Peace Action and Budget For All.
Boryana attended
a filming of Ross Caputi's film, "Fear Not the Path of Truth,
a Veteran's Journey After Fallujah". It is now available

Space for Peace
Week. Oct. 10-19:
-Some of us augmented Arthur's presence at Raytheon on Oct. 10,
-Mary Kate Small and Bobbie Goldman walked with parts of the Maine
Drone Peace Walk.

Despite rain,
the Bread and Roses festival brought many to our table.
To oppose war
in Syria, there were letters, visits to congress people, and vigils
in Newburyport, Andover, and Lowell.

Our commemoration
of the bombing of Hiroshima was a vigil of about fifteen people.

At our table
set up at the Lowell Folk Festival we met many interested in our
literature, buttons and bumper stickers.

Our annual meeting
was graced by many singers and great food.

Dee attended
the Mothers' Day Walk for Peace, in Boston. The walk encourages
people to live together peacefully in their communities. The Arredondos
were there.
The Veterans
for Peace Memorial Day presentations remembered fallen soldiers
and civilians, including the late Charlie Richardson leader of Military
Families Speak Out and member of VFP.

3/6 Wednesday,Tommy
and Fionan Sands, songs and stories at Ipswich High School, in Ipswich.
Boryana set up our table and Brian piped.
3/17, Veterans
for Peace St. Patrick's Day Parade. Was very well attended despite
cold weather.
3/29, Six of
us attended the Good Friday vigil in Reading, opposing Capital Punishment.
Mary Kate fasted
in solidarity with the prisoners fasting in Guantanimo.

Several of us
watched together the full series of the video, "A Force More
Powerful."
Walk For a New
Spring. Some of us joined the Budhist monks for the Andover and
the Amesbury-Ipswich parts of their larger walk. One evening, from
Charmaine Whiteface, we learned of the damage to lands in South
Dakota from nuclear mining.
